Feature of the Week
Christo Coetzee Gallery In September 2009 Waterbrook was comissioned to restore the old Mission School as a tribute to well known artist Christo Coetzee and re-use it as an art gallery. As Christo Coetzee did most of his paintings on the floor, they preserved the central part of the original floor with all his paint marks, had it sealed and created an "Christo Coetzee art work" on its own. The lighting, furniture and art display boards are quite contemporary, contrasting dramatically with the classic construction of the building. The Christo Coetzee gallery will soon be opening its doors to the public.
