Horse About Equestrian Club invites you to take a step back in time on one of our nature trails, passing through vineyards and farmlands while enjoying spectacular views of the Tulbagh Valley and the majesty of the Witzenberg Mountains towering above you.

We offer various trail options which can include local wine or award winning olive oil tastings, or let us arrange a picnic to round off a perfect outing. Our trail rides and out rides can be tailored to suit everyone.  From supervised pony rides for the little ones to half day and full day trails.

For the more adventurous at heart, we offer fun filled playtime on the field, try your hand at gymkhana games or give the King of Sports, polo a try.

Explore the Tulbagh Valley by Mountain Bike

Tour our beautiful valley in peace and tranquility by hiring a mountain bike from the Tulbagh Hotel.
We will provide you with a map, detailing suggested routes of varying length and difficulty.
After a rewarding time on the road, join us back at the Tulbagh Hotel for a complimentary glass of wine on the patio under the shade of the White Karee tree. Al fresco dining is also offered in the secluded courtyard, with an a la carte menu featuring great South African country fayre. Accommodation at the Tulbagh Hotel is available on a Bed and Breakfast or Self Catering basis.

Ceres Zipline Adventures - your adventure of a lifetime starts here!

Travel along 8 slides totalling 1.4km for the longest zipslide tour in Africa for 2 - 3 hours (depending on the group size) of adventure and adrenaline rushes.
